New Module: Toys Under Maintenance
- Mark toys as "Under Maintenance" directly from the toys list with a simple click of the wrench icon.
- Toys under maintenance cannot be loaned or reserved, preventing accidental loans of toys that need repair.
- New dedicated page showing all toys currently under maintenance with the same information as the main toy list.
- Easy to filter and search through maintenance toys by category, photo status, or search term.
- Export maintenance lists to PDF or Excel for record keeping.
- Change a toy's status back to ACTIVE anytime through the edit page.

Toys
Show/Hide Columns
- Pick exactly which toy columns you see—including the new Condition and Alert columns.
- MiBaseNZ remembers your choices, so the layout stays the same next time you visit.
- The alert icon highlights toys with notes; hover to read the message instantly.
- PDF/Excel exports now follow your layout and include the same condition/alert details.
Hover to See Photos
Simply hover your mouse over any toy ID to see a photo of the toy instantly - no need to click through to another page!
Better Status Colours
Toy statuses (ON LOAN, OVERDUE, IN LIBRARY) now use clear, consistent colours that are easier to spot at a glance.
Members
Show/Hide Columns
- Choose the columns you want to see, with mandatory fields protected.
- Local settings are remembered for each admin, so your view stays the same even after you leave the page.
- Search filters and export data stay in sync with hidden columns.
- Expire column now sorts by the real date, making it easy to find upcoming renewals.
Better Pagination
Member lists are now split into easy-to-navigate pages. Choose how many members to show per page (10, 20, 50, or 100).
Smarter PDF & Excel Exports
- Exports now use the exact data shown on screen, including hidden columns.
- Status dropdowns and formatted values (balance, roster due) appear correctly in the download.
- Exports stay aligned with your column preferences, so you only share what you expect.
Improved Member Loan History
The member detail page now has a fully functional loan history table with pagination, sorting, and filtering. Easily navigate through a member's complete borrowing history!
Better Missing Pieces Table
The missing pieces table on member detail pages now has pagination and improved sorting, making it easier to track and manage missing toy parts.
Reports
New Report: Toys Returned by Date Range
Created 14 Oct 2025See all toys that were returned during a specific time period. Perfect for tracking return patterns and peak times!
New Report: Member Activity with Status
Created 16 Oct 2025Track member activity including their current status (Active, Resigned, etc.) and how many times they've renewed. Shows who your most engaged members are!
Updated Report: Unpopular Toys by Category
Updated 10 Nov 2025Find toys that haven't been borrowed much in the last year, now grouped by category with clearer summaries. Automatically excludes new toys (purchased in last 6 months) so you get accurate results!
New Report: Unpopular Toys by Category (Since Opening)
Created 10 Nov 2025Review the 100 least borrowed toys since your library opened, grouped by category and excluding recent purchases so you can target long-term slow movers.
New Report: Toys Without Pictures by Category
Created 11 Nov 2025Quickly find active toys that still need photos, grouped by category and sorted by toy ID so you can update images efficiently.
New Report: Members Missing Contact Info
Created 11 Nov 2025Quickly see which active, non-expired members are missing vital details such as email, phone, address, suburb or city—and check their expiry date at the same time so you know who to follow up next.
Search Reports
The reports page now has a search function to help you find the exact report you need quickly.
"New" Badge
Recently added reports show a green "New" badge so you can easily spot new features!
Loans & Returns
Toy Photos on Hover
On the loans page, hover over any toy ID to see its photo. Makes it easier to confirm you have the right toy before processing a loan or return!
Email Column On Loan List
The toy loans list now shows the borrower’s email beside their member ID, with a quick mailto link so you can contact them instantly.
Smarter Toy Detail History
Toy detail pages now have crisp icons and a sortable “Last 20 returns” table with filters, so you can quickly find previous loans.
Improved Table Layout
Loans and returns tables now have better spacing and are easier to read, especially on smaller screens.
Fixed Overdue Display
Overdue toys now display correctly with proper highlighting and accurate overdue day counts.
Fixed Toy History Page
The toy history page now displays all columns correctly with proper return dates and days on loan calculations. Added pagination and improved table functionality for better navigation through loan history.
Roster
Better Member Selection
The roster page now only shows active members in the dropdown, making it faster to assign roster duties.
Better Sorting
Roster entries now sort by date automatically, showing upcoming rosters first.
Settings & Admin
Modernised All Admin Tables
Over 30 admin pages have been updated with the new table design - faster, cleaner, and easier to use!
Search Everywhere
All settings pages now have search and filter capabilities. Find what you're looking for in seconds!
Pagination Everywhere
Long lists in admin pages are now paginated, making them load faster and easier to navigate.
Fixed Button Icons
All icons on buttons are now properly positioned and look professional throughout the admin interface.
Password Visibility Toggle
The admin login page now includes an eye icon to show/hide your password while typing, making it easier to enter your credentials correctly.
Version Display
The current MiBaseNZ version is now displayed on the admin login page footer, so you always know which version you're using.
Member Website
Enhanced Login Security
Improved member login with CSRF protection, password visibility toggle (show/hide), and better security measures to keep your account safe.
New Contact Us Page
Members can now easily contact the library through a new contact form. Includes spam protection with reCAPTCHA and sends notifications to administrators.
My Details Page
New "My Details" page in your member area showing all your personal information, contact details, and children's information in one place.
Toy Renewal Works Properly
Fixed toy renewal feature - now charges the correct rental amounts and works smoothly without errors. Renew your toys easily from your member area!
Accurate Transaction Calculations
Your account balance, credits, and debits now calculate correctly and match what administrators see. All transaction totals are now accurate.
Better Toy Photos
Toy photos now load faster and display correctly throughout the member website. All toy listings show proper images.
Improved Sidebar Design
Modernised right sidebar with Google Maps integration, better contact information display, and mobile-friendly design.
Fixed Navigation
Reorganised menu - "My Library", "My Wishlist", and "My Transactions" are now grouped together in a dropdown menu for easier access.
Fixed All Errors
Resolved all 500 errors, missing functions, and page crashes. The entire member website now works smoothly without interruptions.
